S3 07 - Brett Michael Innes and Nick Ahlers on “Khaki Fever”
Game rangers getting into the bush! However you want to read that, that is what this week's episode is all about.
Just days before it debuts at kykNet's Silwerskerm, Gino joins the writing/production team and real-life couple Brett Michael Innes and Nick Ahlers via Zoom, to talk about Showmax's new raunchy bush romp Khaki Fever.
Set in a game lodge with more sexual tension than a high-school romance, Khaki Fever follows a group of buff game rangers who set up a season-long challenge: whoever manages to nail the most tourists wins the title of “King of Khaki” and the losers’ combined tips.
The film is packed with chaos, nudity, wit, and heartfelt friendships, held together by a powerhouse cast including Christopher Jaftha, Anja Taljaard, Trix Vivier, Liam Bosman, and Ilse Klink, plus a scene-stealing French bulldog named Chardonnay. Many of the actors are 2025 Silwerskerm Festival nominees, and their chemistry is evident both on and off screen.
To get the most out of your bird watching, Khaki Fever streams on Showmax from Friday, 5 September.
